ZTA Mom's Club

The TCU Zeta Tau Alpha Mom's Club was created to help Zetas feel moms’ love in small ways, even though they might be miles from home. The club was created about 10 years ago and it started by supporting the Zeta women during recruitment. The days of recruitment are jam-packed and a few moms recognized the need for help with running errands and bringing food to the women during recruitment. This was so well-received, and the moms asked how else they could help. As years passed, the Mom’s Club went from providing meals during Recruitment, to providing meals and snacks during finals. The moms also purchased new pots, pans, and other essentials for the Zeta kitchen, put up "Good Luck on Finals" posters around the house, tuned the piano so those that knew how to play could carry out their hobby in the house, and they became involved in other activities to enhance the Zeta experience. Even though some moms live far away, joining this club allows moms to contribute to the sisterhood of Zeta Tau Alpha at TCU. Being a part of the Mom's Club is a great way for the Zeta women to get to know moms and for moms to get to know the Zetas who will be their daughters’ life-long friends.
